Take Flight for the Cause with Air Canada

This year, every participant in the Coupe Charles-Bruneau in Quebec could be taking off… very far away. Thanks to the Air Canada Foundation, a pair of round-trip Economy Class tickets, valued at up to $6,000, will be drawn among registered participants. An inspiring initiative that brings together team spirit and a commitment to a childhood without cancer.

A draw to reward commitment

Because every dollar helps advance pediatric cancer research, we’ve introduced a system to motivate teams. Based on the amounts raised by each team, participants increase their chances of winning the prize.

How does it work?

The more your team raises, the better your chances of winning!

Teams that triple or quadruple the minimum team fundraising goal of $5,000 will automatically qualify for the draw. Entries will then be grouped into an individual draw among all eligible members.

Entries are awarded as follows:

  • Triple the team fundraising goal = 1 entry per member (amounts raised from $15,000 to $19,999)
  • Quadruple the team fundraising goal = 2 entries per member (amounts raised of $20,000 and more)

The contest runs from Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

The winner will be announced on Saturday, May 23, 2026, during the ceremony revealing the final amount raised as part of the Coupe Charles-Bruneau in Quebec City.

The Coupe Charles-Bruneau is more than just a sporting event. It is a moment of solidarity, perseverance, and collective impact. This partnership with the Air Canada Foundation is a great opportunity to give even more meaning to participants’ involvement, by offering a dream incentive while making a concrete contribution to pediatric hematology-oncology research in Quebec.

Ready, set, fundraise… and take off!
