We asked the Prelia team how they’re preparing for the Coupe Charles-Bruneau in Quebec. Discover their answers and get inspired to rally your own team!
Q: Can you tell us about the teambuilding you do through the Coupe Charles-Bruneau?
A: The Coupe Charles-Bruneau is much more than just a day of hockey for us. Team spirit is built before the competition: we organize raffles, meal sales, and activities that bring colleagues together around a common goal. It’s this collective momentum, built week after week leading up to the event, that makes all the difference on game day.
Q: What are the teambuilding benefits for you of participating in the Coupe Charles-Bruneau?
A: The Coupe offers us a unique setting to experience something truly authentic together, away from meetings and screens. We stand side by side, from senior leadership to participants, in a context where what matters is the collective effort and the cause we support. This kind of experience brings a team together in a way that everyday office life simply cannot replicate.
Q: What tips would you give to a team to strengthen team spirit during the event?
A: Our first piece of advice: don’t wait until the day of the competition. Get everyone involved ahead of time, in fundraising, organizing activities, and mobilizing supporters. When every team member has contributed to the effort, that sense of belonging naturally shows on the ice. And above all, involve your leaders: when management leads by example, it sets the tone for the entire team.
Every initiative, no matter how simple, helps strengthen your team and gives even more meaning to your participation.
Happy preparing!
